"The Twentieth Wife" by Indu Sundaresan is pretty danged good. I read it in less than a day, having started sometime this morning after Lorelei left for school and finished it maybe half an hour ago. We made a family trip to the main library this weekend. I wanted to take the kids to the park, but it was hot and humid and Chris suggested the library instead.
